Loosey Goosey

Yesterday was studio day. I spent all day creating and humming and doing little dances. Wee oh, it was a blast. I started with clay jewelry and ended in a multi-media work that is still in progress.

I did some loose watercolor in between the jewelry and mm piece. This geranium picture I like. It is really loose for me, the self-titled uptight artist. I am working hard at being more loosey-goosey in style so for me this was a stretch.

I also did the self portrait that I am posting next to my profile. Except for the blue skin and red nose it really actually looks like me. And oh, the mole on my chin isn't green in real life. But you knew that, right?

wait a minute, your skin isn't blue in real life? ;-)

seriously tho, that's an awesome portrait, tam! it's so hard to capture the essence of a person in a portrait and you totally did. it does look like you! and the flowers are gorgeous too!

I love your new "loosey-goosey" style!

huh...as I'm typing this, I looked at my coffee and there is an eyelash floating in it. Is that supposed to be good luck or something?
